Derek Yu

I enjoy travelling and have recently visited such places as England, France, Italy, China, Japan, Cuba, Mexico and the fabulous Las Vegas. I found S.C.U.B.A. diving off the coast of Cuba to be a particularly memorable experience. During my introductory S.C.U.B.A. dive, not only did I get the chance to admire colourful flora and fauna, but I was also dangerously close to running out of air while still frolicking in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

My true passion is sports. Looking back, this was evident early on when I would read the newspaper’s sports section from cover to cover at the tender age of seven and play road hockey in –30 degree temperatures. Whenever I get a spare moment out of the office, I enjoy playing volleyball, golf, tennis, skiing and participating in various sports pools.

Today, I also enjoy spending time with my wonderful wife and our two young boys.
