David Macdonald is counsel to Harris + Harris LLP law firm.  He was called to the Bar in Ontario 1964 and for over 30 years of his career in law he practiced as a partner with two major law firms in downtown Toronto.  David obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto in Political Science and Economics and graduated from Osgood Hall Law School in 1962.  He has had a wide variety of commercial experience representing some large trade associations in negotiations and appearances before administrative tribunals and government bodies.  Most recently, his practice has centered around real estate acquisitions, development and financing.  He has represented a number of smaller developers and non-profit owner occupiers of real estate in the Greater Metropolitan Toronto area in acquisition, development, financing and leasing matters.  David has also acted as legal counsel on a broad range of commercial and corporate matters to a large national trade association and member industries in the restaurant and food service business.
